postpartum doula services
I have always loved working with families and children. I graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child & Family Studies. I honed my patience, empathy and nurturing skills with years of experience as a Nanny and Special Education Co-Teacher.
I have been a Certified Postpartum Doula for over 2 years now and I’ve never been happier. I love working with new parents, sharing my calm, helping set up the nursery and of course, the tiny baby snuggles.
I have experience with:
preemies, twins, NICU graduates, special needs babies, breastfeeding, formula feeding, pumping, sleep training, tongue and lip ties, colic and reflux among others.
I take a holistic approach in caring for the whole family and recognizing signs of perinatal mood disorders.
Certifications include:
Postpartum Doula since October 2021
Pediatric & Infant First Aid/CPR/AED
Perinatal Mood Disorders, PSI trained in components of care
